My girlfriend spent a lot of time in Italy, and has been craving an authentic Italian pizza. Also, I needed an excuse to cook with my 11. This is the product of a days worth of prep. Everything is from scratch. Mistakes were made, the next one will be epic, but this was pretty damn good. And yes, it tastes better than it looks.

Looks good to me. My wife is Sicilian, she does some hellacious Italian cooking.

What're ya talking about? It looks great.
My first pizza margherita was on Capri (honeymoon, some 13 yrs ago.) Middle of the afternoon, everything was closed but the hotel bar. It was one of like 3 things on offer.
Possibly my best meal of the trip.

My wife's home made pizza is one of the reasons I married her. The other is two of her top five movies are The Good the Bad and the Ugly and the Outlaw Josey Wales.

Looks like you make a fine pizza! Way better than the cereal I can whip up.

:D

Looks dang good to me. I grew up around a bunch of Italians and absolutely love the food.

Looks YUMMY! Fresh mozzerella is THE SH!+ I love it! I always have some on hand. Perfect afternoon snack, with some proscutto and some fresh basil and olive oil!

The pizza stone will help. Also might help, putting the stone on the grill if it is charcoal. Or if it is an electric oven, putting it on self clean, if it doesn't lock for that. Usually hotter temps help.

One of my favorite places to get pizza in New York will bake their pizza for a total of 90 seconds in a brick oven pizza! :o

First try or not, that pizza looks terrific.

man that looks great!!!! nothing scratch-made should look box perfect anywho!!!
