Hello,
First off, I did read most of the rules, & looked for a "meet & greet" section but couldn't find it, or maybe it's not there? So I apologize if this is not the section for introductions. Here we go:
I've been lurking around for a while now, & been wanting to join. Whenever I would look for info on knife/blade related info, I would somehow end up here on the forum, & that says a lot, IMO. So now i'm here, thanks for having me.
I'm a self-employed Jordanian guy, I do well for myself, &.... I have a thing for knives, it started in my late 20s several years ago, & started collecting a few years back. I love watching knife makers do their thing, watched FIF for a while, still watch YouTube videos etc, I respect the skill a lot.
I don't beat my knives, I respect each & every piece, & I have some that I don't use at all, but I love having them. Not a fan of the knife destruction trend on YouTube, especially when they set out to break a knife because it wasn't an axe.
What else, I like sports, exercise, health trends & all that. I don't talk politics, religion, etc
I look forward to learning stuff here, & interacting with all of you nice collectors, makers, mods, manufacturers & others.
Here are some of my fixed blades & their sheaths:
2 Cudemans, MT5 & JJSK1 with their beautiful leather sheaths / A Muela with its crappy & cheap sheath./ A lovely & very sharp Joker Bowie with it's pretty sheath / KA-BAR 1211 with it's awesome hard plastic sheath./ The one & only KA-BAR, that's the single mark (civilian version) with it's plain leather sheath/ / The beast, AKA 5.11 CFK7 with it's Kydex sheath.
