but the BK2 was the first knife with which I completely fell in love. At the moment, it's still sitting in my car from when I took it out on some land navigation training here at West Point. I'd say that around 95% of the time when I see it sitting there all beautiful, I take it out of the sheath, fondle it a bit, gawk at it in awe, and then put it away. I've got fancier, more expensive knives, but this thing just makes me happy. Thank you, Ethan.

Nice man! I don't own one, but I hear it's a tank of a knife. If I were you I'd look into a BK-16. Especially if you are doing some long distance stuff.
 
It really is a beast of a blade, but there is quite a bit of beauty in the design. I love mine too, planning to put it to good use this weekend on some branches that need to be removed (maybe terminated is a better word for it) :)
