Tonite I just had a starter go out on a drag conveyor. 2 t8s hold the bracket to the starter on. My only torx set is in my kobalt driver kit. Wouldn't you know it. I had the kit but my handle was in my shop @ home. Welp for the 1st time I used the handle on my 850 for a handle for the bit. It worked fairly well. It was alittle weird because I was working in top corner in an electric box but very manageable. Would have been less awkward if using it out in the open. Just thought I would share.

If it would of been in the open, and easy to get to, you would of had the proper handle with ya. :D

Man you must have the same luck I do. I've used my knive as a handle another since this post in a better spot. Little easier but still not useful enough when considering having to figure a way to carry the bits. I so happen have the kit in my toolbox on my truck. If I'm going to my truck might as well grap the handle. I think it would have been neat if Buck had a way for you to store a bit or 3 that you think you'll need most often in the spine of the knife.
Oh well I'm not complaining, it is what it is. I do know though in a pinch if I can find a bit I can work on it. The knife does work as a handle.
