I agree with Esav...i would rather not have the axis lock...for waved knives ill just stick to my emersons and for opening holes my spydercos

But the waved enduras/delicas are a great option:thumbup:

I'm with Esav. A waved Emerson will get the job done pretty nicely also. Can't see the need for much more than that.

Wave a Griptilian with the sheepsfoot blade and hole or wave a Manix 2. The BB lock works similarly to the Axis lock.

The CBL is close to Axis in functionality.

I think Spyderco positions the "wave" hook in the wrong location, though, on its knives.

I have the waved delica and edc it this last days and there nothing wrong with the working of the wave.
Its my fastest knife and really like it.

Maybe it's a little strange looking.
