Anyone ever heard of this brand of diamond spray?It's available at kingsley north.

OK,that didn't go anywhere so.Can some of you guys tell me the best place to get some diamond spray and what grade to get.This will be the first time I've used any but everyone here seems to have great results with using it.Thanks:thumbup:
 
You can find amplex at classicshaving.com and DMT compound almost anywhere.

Thanks knifenut but I was really wanting to try some diamond spray.Does the paste work just as well as the spray?
 
The hand american is probably the best for a spray. I would start with 1 micron and if you want to take it a step further the 0.5 micron. I got both since I was already paying for shipping and it's not that expensive for something that will last a long time.

Do you have a website for the kind you found a source for? Who knows, it may be great. If it isn't that expensive maybe try it out and let us know what you think. Do you know anything about it like carat weight, is it monocrystaline, do they have any guarantee on particle size?

Edit: I found the website and the HA is quite a bit cheaper. You can get 12 carats for about the price of their 'economy' spray which is only 6 carats.
 
Paste and sprays are equal in what they achieve they just apply different. Some also use a different base (water or oil) and will apply better to some surfaces than others. DMT, Amplex, and HA are the ones I have used and liked, also in order from good to best the HA is a hard to beat compound for quality and performance.
 
I just got off the phone with Keith of Hand American. He's going to be marketing his sprays & products, first through a guy I know - Mark at Chef's-Knives-To-Go first and then start selling to more distributors.

He said he's going to run a site with only "support info" and of course will be available for personal phone support. I really like talking to Keith and you can still order his spray if you GG it and find the orphaned diamond spray page.

It's working and he has plenty of the 4 oz (only) bottles of spray available.

Though some of you'd like to know. :)
