I was interested in this pack after Widerstand did an excellent video review of his. A good buddy contacted me and said he an one to send me. Cool thing was the pack was already partially modified so most of the work was done. Thanks brother for the pack!!!!!

No for the run down.

The front of the pack has a strip of heavy webbing that works perfect for Alice clipped pouches. This will be great for adding canteens, pouches, FAK, etc.

Added alice straps are very comfy and easy to get on and off.

Attaches just like on the alice pack.

The crappy metal flap buckles need to be replaced with fastex. Luckily I had some and modded them by cutting a slit in the bar so they could slid onto the existing webbing. These are NOT 1" straps but much smaller.

Bottom straps are big enough to hold a USGI poncho.

Main compartment holds more then you think.

I think for the money this is a great little day pack that could easily hold gear for a warm weather over nighter. Just needs some upgrades to make it work well.

Mine has become my allaround daypack. I can strap my flyrod case to the bottom or the side pocket, fill a side pocket with fishing gear and a beer, the main pocket with a laptop and notebooks for class, and the other with a water bottle. The last month I've spent fly fishing along the river between classes out of this pack. Also managed to squeeze 3 days' worth of kit into it for an Owyhees trip recently. Perfect design for a minimalist bushcraft ruck, and pretty darned durable construction. For 14 bucks you'd be foolish not to pick one up.

Great review. It's hard to beat the looks of old packs like that.
