I've had these things for so long, I forgot that they might be of interest to a bunch of knife maniacs on the Internet. I bought them in Florence. That's in Italy, for those of you who are paying attention. I came across these little cuties as I was strolling through a flea market in the Altr'arno 'hood. But we didn't say "'hood" in those days. Getting through customs at JFK was tricky. Let's say that I knew a guy who knew a guy. Thankfully, the Statute of Limitations has long expired, so I can tell you this.

Saluti!

Thanks for bringing that up. I like the Italian style autos mostly because they were so hard to get when I was a kid in the early 70's. I have a few I bought from gunshows as an adult but my favorite is an Anton Wingen bolster lock I bought and carried while I was in the Army in Germany. The little stores back then had little bowls of them near the register for us soldiers and tourists. :) I obviously have a lot better knives but not many I'm as fond of as that inexpensive knife from a company that doesn't exist anymore from a place that now is just a memory for me.
