ITC-100 questions

I have a couple of questions
-Is it better to apply itc-100 with a brush or a spray bottle?
-Do I put the kitty litter under the Itc-100?
-Does Itc-100 have to be heat cured or just let dry on its own?
-How many coats of itc do i have to put?

Whatcha putting the ITC-100 on?

When I coated the inside of my forge which already had been coated with Satanite, I mixed the ITC-100 up and used a 1-1/2" paint brush to kind of slather it on. Believe me, it goes on easier than you might believe! After allowing each coat to fully dry, I would fire up the forge for a few minutes, let it cool down overnight, fire it again in the morning, cool again then recoat. I did 3 coats total.
Are you using the kitty litter on the forge floor?

I am using kawool, yes kitty litter on the forge floor. I am gonna have to get my burner made I have not yet made it. My brothers friend is a plumber and he said he would give me that parts and help me make it.
