its warming up, and ive had the bike out a few times already. i just went down to townsend Tenn. the begining of march and rode the tail of the dragon with my brother. it was by far the coolest ride ive ever been on! 318 curves in 11 miles! it was intense. it was a little on the cool side the first weekend of march but 50 and no snow and dry roads was good enough for me. ever sence i got home all i want to do is ride but the weather is not exactly cooperating just yet. anybody eles been out this year??? i think the next day of 40+ and dry ill start riding to work :)

I rode the Dragon on my R1 the second week I owned it! Awesome ride but a long ride from Central Oklahoma on a Rice Burner! I bought a $400 seat before I left and it was the best investment I did for that bike!

3 tiems a year every years at the Drogon, camp at the resort. The Skyway and Hellbender/Mooshiner 28 are awesome also. Wolf pen gap and Blood mountain are a short drive away. Best riding in the country in my opinion in that area. The dragon is usually too busy for my liking though.
Coolest ride is to wait til an hour or two after dark and ride from fugitive dam down the dragon to the overlook and back!!!

So what does everybody ride? I got a CBR1000RR. It's my baby. Poor things been locked in the garage since October.

Bounce me a message before you go,have a map of all the day rides we do, I' ll track it down an send it you.

Been ridin' all year so long as there no snow or ice I'm on the road ridin'. I think I missed about 6 weeks of ridin' as a result of bad weather.

Keep the shiny side up and the great side down.

i have a VTX 1300C but im hopein to have my liter bike before the season ends. i just cant decide what to get. R1, CBR,GSXR, thought about doing a CBR1000RR streetfighter.my brother rides a triumph speed triple and got me stuck on the naked bike look. ughhhhhhhh decisions decisions.........

That's what normally goes o the gap with me. Zx-10r, Big bore 1098kit, full Akra evo carbon fiber/ ti exhaust, B&m filter, Bazaaz fi controller, wicked fast overpowered bike

If going used the suzi has the biggest aftermarket. I worked at a Honda, Kawasaki, and Yamaha shop for a while and of the three the Honda has more power than the Yami and more fixable than the Kawi. But there all great bikes and get what strikes you man. The differences are so small that unless you ride em a lot or back to back you will never notice. Honestly tho I rode a speed triple and it was awesome. I almost traded for it. A naked project would be awesome man. Check out some of the brit bike mags for some good naked bike ideas.

That's kiwi is awesome. Awesome to a level that few can understand, even fewer can handle, and none can resist. If they say they can they've never risen a 160+ up suicide machine at more than 50%.

Don't get me wrong cruisers are awesome, but there's something about having a better power to weight ratio than a NASCAR.

I have a 1999 Harley Sportster 883. It has a nicer seat than the original and screaming eagle pipes on it. It is nothing special but it is my first bike and I love it.

I've been benched off and on since Sept. with a rotor cuff. Road to work all last week, 200 miles yesterday, snowing right now.

See ya in Atlanta, after Rancho Cucamonga CA to DC, to the Dragon.

On this one this year.

My next bike will be a hog because honestly while I can and have road 500-600 miles a day it was the opposite of fun. But the CBR is mine for ever.

The weather finally changed enough to make it worth putting a plate on my Harley a week back and I've been riding every day since. Being out on the road with the wind and the roar of the engine, there just isn't anything better.

To answer Gixxer1237's question, since last September I've been riding a '97 Harley Sportster XL1200C that the previous owner had done a wicked paintjob to and added a lot of chrome.

Been riding the HOG since Jan. 1, every month since including today. But that's on Vancouver Island; only two days of frost this winter (+ LOTS of rain...).

Ive been riding all winter long every dry chance i get. Ive got a 12 street glide plan on riding down to blade ive got some family just outside of atlanta.
