Well I have not gotten into trouble for a while and since I have not received a response for my resumes for employment in Iraq. Since just about all of my friends who were with me at the time ( save one who is still left ) have departed from this mortal coil. Since the present rate of growth in my area no longer allows me to shoot off weapons in my back yard to celebrate in memorial rememberance. I decided to make a statment no matter how small. I dug around and found an item I had just about forgotten I had, and put it on Ebay. I do not care if it sells, ( if it does it will have to be to someone who is as crazy as me with some deep pockets ) I did it for the same reason I used to shoot guns off in the back yard, just to let off some steam for those who no longer could. If it does sell a portion of the money will go to the Pow and Mia familys however I did not put that in since I did not wish it to be construed to be the mitigating circumstance in someones buying it ( that is my business ) I only mention it now in this forum since I did not want the readers ( the regular guys ) thinking I did it mainly for monetary reasons. I suppose one of these days I would have put pics of this set on the forum but never really dug it out so this listing may serve two purposes I can get my opinion off and it will allow it to be viewed. I am attaching the link ( I think that is the correct term ) to view this item on ebay. Now that all being said I am going over to the one friend I mentioned earlier we are going to eat very rare bloody venison and get grotesquely drunk. I do this not for myself but as a duty to those who deserve it much more than me but are no longer able. Bless them all then and now and GOD BLESS AMERICA. PS ABSENT on TDA annual memorial assignment. LT

LT I hate doing this in this particular case, but part of the job here is to not allow links to auctions. In the future it would be best to ask the owner of this site for permission to link to an auction with a cause as just as the one you are helping with.

Hope you understand. Edited to remove auction link only.

Gus.. Am sure we all understand. The other members can email or IM me or our LT for the auction if they are interested. Not often a moderator checks in here... we call ourselves as 'Uncle Henry's Lost Souls'.

All I can say is 'Wow', LT, but then I write that frequently when you post photos. Very good of you. Very generous. A very nice set of knives.
Hope you and your buddy had a great day, LT. Hope you enjoyed your temp. duty assignment.

I apologize I had no idea I was in violation I had seen the links or whatever they may be to other sites for the viewing of pictures in the past and was not aware I was in violation I also fully realize that ignorance is no excuse for violations of procedure and I appreciate your tempered correction to my post. One of the reasons I have a gold membership is so that I may post pictures directly. In any event You have my assurance that it will not happen again.

Pursuant to that I wish to say that my handle on ebay is the same as here lt632ret Respectfully submitted LT.

I see no harm done on either side, the post was not advertising to sell, and the editing by Gus was right and without changing the spirit of the post.

A mighty nice set, something to value both for Schrade tradition and U.S. history. I wish a Mexican manufacturer made something half as nice to commemorate cinco de mayo.

Wish I had the bucks to get that. Anyone want to buy a slightly used kid? He's not much good at chores, but he can sure play game boy.

BTW, he did earn his whittling chip card. :D

Not a nibble on it yet. LT, with the new Ebay format, you can see how many people are 'Watching' the set. Of course it may just be all of us guys. Good luck with it, it is a worthy cause you are selling it for.
