Ok to start im getting foam from knifekits.com, im gonna use a dremel to cut kydex and i have a belt sander, but i dont know how to set the rivets and im gonna use a tek a lot but there seem to be 2 options dont know the differences, is a heat gun necessary, and lastly where do i go to get like d rings and stuff for danglers or leather belt loops.
also if the blade is wide do i have to drill holes where the blade oughta be to install a tek lok?

...before you buy anything do a Google search for kydex sheath making tutorials...watch and read several....

You can buy the dies to set eyelets from KK as well. If you're just doing a few, the handheld ones are probably more practical.

The "Large" fits larger belts, but is adjustable.

, is a heat gun necessary

Technically no, but if you don't know what you're doing you probably want one. Really depends on the knife.

No. The TL attaches to one side of the sheath. If you want it to attach at all corners, you'll wanna make a plate between it and the sheath.

Don't know on the dangler stuff.

Hope that helps. I'd advise taking sonil's advice though.

D rings (aside from Tandy):
Jontay Webbing Source has metal and plastic hardware in flat colors.
Strapworks has chrome, brass, and anodized metal, and black plastic hardware. (the few anodized items I've gotten from them actually appear to be powder coated or painted)
Buckleguy has chrome, brass, nickel, and ??brushed nickel hardware.

Indexfasteners has an array of prefab connector hardware i.e. attachment loops and clips.
As far as leather belt loops, I think Sagewood makes a dangler you can order separate/without ordering a sheath...

and yeah, watch lots of videos
AND don't inhale those fumes - wear a respirator/work in ventilated area.
