This is a post I don't want to have to make, but we need to.
There will be a delay on the Boker Plus items that require kydex sheaths.
The sheaths have been delayed and we are not sure of a delivery date at this time. This includes Rolds, Gnomes, Rhinos, the Mosier, both Kreins.
I will update things as often as I find out any news.

We just got a bunch of sheaths for the Gnome, so those are shipping, the Pocket Bowies came in spurts but have been shipping.
We got a small run of Rold sheaths and shipped all of those last week.
I haven't gotten a new delivery list so I don't know what is coming next, but we will get them out as soon as the sheaths come in.

Hi

Any updates on the gnomes. I've had my order in at Kennesaw Cutlery since early September and the only update I can get from them is "we expect them in about 2 weeks". Of course that's the same answer I get every two weeks when I follow up.

We just shipped out around 200 Gnomes late last week. Not sure if any went to Kennesaw or not, but they are getting out there. Also received some Rhino sheaths yesterday, so those are shipping at this time.

I am waiting, along with many others, for the Kressler Sub-Hilt to be released for sale. From July to September to November. It is now one week into November. Any word on when this knife will become available or should those of us seeking a sub-hilt just finally move on to another knife?
 
Unfortunately, we just posted on this earlier this week. The factory has now changed the date to February of next year. At this time, that is the best info I have. As I find out any thing more, I will keep you posted.

Just curious. Could you find out what's causing the hold-up on the Kressler Subhilt? Knowing that won't make any difference in terms of when the knife will be delivered, of course. But it might restore my faith in Boker's ability to do what it says it's going to do when it says it's going to do it. Thanks.

I know the first problem was the forging of the 440C blade. Then I expect that the grinds were more difficult than originally thought.

Thanks, Terry. That makes sense. Manufacturing an integral Big Bear subhilt is not for the faint of heart.

I hope Boker can eventually bring the 02BO190 to market. It's a classic design. And it deserves to see the light of day.

Any updates on the Gnome's availability. My orders been in to Kennesaw Cutlery since early September and I guess they got tired of my follow up requests as I haven't heard from them about their last promise of 2 weeks.

Hello Bob,
Some Gnomes have been going out in small batches. We are still working on getting sheaths for them, and I should have an update this week on the progress of them.

Any updates on the Rhino's? I've got one on backorder, it's a Christmas present and I'd like to know if I need to go to Plan B.

Right now I would say plan B. I do not see any sheaths on delivery for that model before Christmas. Sorry about that and any inconvenience it causes.

If you want a Rhino or Gnome - and Euro stag over red liners sounds nice - as does a leather sheath - go look at AG Russell's 'special' versions - Boker Plus's made for them. They are listed as 'in stock' today - Christmas Eve! I bought their stag Rhino and a regular Gnome some time back - my first order - nice folks.

Hi Guy's, I hope this is in the right place. Would anyone know when we could expect to see the Rhino and Rold in Australia?
