Ordered a Chris Reeve Sebenza 25 today from Derrick over at knivesshipfree. I have the small Sebenza and an Umnum, now I have a 25 on the way. :)

Next up I start the inlays for my collection. I really like the mammoths but can't decide if I want to go ivory or the bark.

Too many choices in this addiction. :D

Be careful getting into inlays, it will get expensive fast!!! As for the mammoth, I would go for the bark too, it has more character.

Congrats, the 25 is a great knife. I have a small wood inlay incoming from Derrick that is caught up in USPS limbo. I also ordered my 25 through them as well. Have had good transactions with them.

I would go for a bark but I am in love with mammoth bark handles, scales or inlays

Nice addition with the 25...:D

I'd also go with the Bark, there are so many variations of it, which makes them all very unique
Just my $0.02

Congrats on the amazing 25. It is one of my favorites for sure. Now on to the issue of ivory vs bark. I think it really depends on the knife. My favorite mammoth of all time was an caramel ivory Mnandi I had. I have seen some ivory that are darker than bark. Plus both are very hard to come by so what ever pops up and you like go after. Good luck on the Hunt!

First the inlays , next Damascus ..... Pretty soon you'll be main lining fluorinated grease!!! It's a slippery slope indeed my friend :p

Yeah I'm definitely liking the look of the bark. @Always I know what you mean about USPS bouncing around. I ordered an item from a business in Oregon a week ago and they shipped priority the same day to me in Western NY. The item has gone from Oregon, to Arizona, to New England, then to Maine, then to New Hampshire, and departed New Hampshire today. Funny as heck to watch it.

I got to the point I was hoping it would send me postcards from everywhere it has gone.

That's nothing! We had one going to Vancouver BC (6 or so hours north) travel to LA (normal) then to the UK, then to one other country, back to the states and to the customer!

Thanks guys for using Knivesshipfree. I know you have a lot of options. :)
