Just found out that my wife and I are going to have a boy! I have a 2 yo girl and now I'm gonna have a boy!

Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!
Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy!!

It's hard not to be excited! I love being a dad! :D

Congrats man!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Whens the due date? You have the cigars ready? You hoping he comes out wearing BDU's holding an M-16 so that he is ready to join up when he turns 18? :D

Cool. One of the happiest days of my life was when my daughter was born. The second happiest day was when my grandson was born. It's a long road from here, but it's like driving through scenic area. The road may be long, but it passes all to quickly.

Congrats dude!

Congratulations bro!!! My two little girls are my world. I can understand, and still be jealous. I'd love to have a boy around the place. Still, these are the best two girls in the world.

Congratulations G-M!

We will be grandparents for the first time in late October-early November....my wife is beyond reason already (smile).....
So I quite understand your happiness.....
Good On Ya' and God Bless you all!

Thanks guys! He's due to come on Nov 29th, which is about 5 days after deer hunting season. He'll probably be early, which means just before season!

I can't wait to teach him hunting, fishing, how to take out the trash and mow the lawn! Maybe he'll even be a knife knut!

Jacob, I'd be proud as proud could be if he joined the military. I will let him come to that decision on his own though.

Mr Fraps, I congratulate you also! I don't know who is more proud when the baby comes, the parents, or the grandparents! Thanks again guys! -Matt-

Mine went the otyher way, with Leif first and Astrid second. Having two is a blast. We had to get baby dolls for pretend little sister in advance and get Leif ready for it, but I thyink he was the most visibly excited.

All of yall are in for so much joy.

Now, the only advantage my kids have is having a proper Navy family ;)

And that IS an advantage.

I'm an old USAF retiree, but the last half of my long career was all Purple (Joint duty). I've known many Navy men and women...and there is much to admire about them.

Talk about Family Values. :cool::thumbup:

Awesome! Thanks for that- I do come from a many-generational Navy family, but both my father and I did some time FMF (Which is where squids go do jarhead stuff)- I spent a large part of my childhood on Camp Pendleton, and a certain amount of my enlistment riding around in a humvee, so I was poking a little good natured fun at the "other part" of the Department of the Navy :D

Matt.. I'll trade you two boys for one Girl , the wife would REALLY love to have one :D
the two boy are all grown up and the trouble days are just about over with now..
:) haha
I was Navy, my oldest boy I thought for sure would never Join up he never wanted to hunt and I believed the Youngest would be all gun-oh for it, he loves to hunt, NOT it didn't happen that way.. ..
the oldest is USAF now, and the youngest , no way he'll ever go in, go figure..

Congratulations

I love my little girl way too much to trade her off :p

That is funny how that worked out with your kids, Dan. I guess when you just about have them figured out, ya don't.

Wow, congratulations!

My daughter just turned 4.

It's amazing how these little folks sort of become the center of everything. Every now and then my wife or I will point to her and say to the other, "Who is this person?!" :D

Wifey wants another, and I can't even image having 2 (course, it's pretty hard imagining having 1 until you do...):o

Thanks Joe!

This is our last child...my wife doesn't want to go through pregnancy again. She's a petite lady at 4' 10.5" and it gets awfully rough near the end. I can see her point...I sure wouldnt want to do it! The thought of two kids just wigs me out sometimes, but then I remember that it could be worse, like triplets or something. -Matt-

I have an older brother , 3yrs older than myself. When he was 2 my parrents decided to try for a daughter... instead they got the double trouble package, identical twin boys, myself and my evil twin brother.

So yes, it could be much worse =D
