Please allow me to gloat. I see the times everyone makes their post on the forums and wonder if their employers know you're on the web looking at knives.

So I thought I would invite you to see how hard a job can be. Check out my album below. I have to slave away taking these photo's and can't even keep them.

Terrill,
I did the Fashion photography for Gimbels Dept Store in NYC for about 11 years. I photgraphed some of the most beautiful women the the world. When people used to say what a great job I had, the standard response was, "It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it."

Now, I don't know if it's because I'm getting older or just weirder, but those knives are giving me "wood!"

Hi,
It was fun trying to guess the makers before I clicked on the photos. I didn't get too many...

Terrill just so happens to live about 5 minutes from me. I've taken that opportunity to make him prove to me time and time again just how good he is at photographing my collection. Proof:

I dunno... By the time he shoots my whole collection, he may have proved his case.

I just uploaded these two to my site. Please forgive me, but they were too good to resist showing off.

Do you use a 4 x 5 camera? Those are nice images, I do some photography for where I work, not much lately. I use the White Lightening strobes for my lights, heavy but independent and reliable, so far!

Hey, nice photos. Did you guys catch that Jones Brothers knife on the bottom left? That's our own Barry Jones work. Check out his website listed in his profile to see some awesome knives.

Right again Gary, a 4x5 with a roll film back.
And for those that noticed the Jones Brothers neck knife, I must admit that I got to keep that one. I had the one that was in Blade magazine but my father-in-law stole it. So I actually had to buy a knife to replace it. For those that want a neck knife that model can't be beat. And now those two are into folders!
Another forumite is Bob Doggett, it is his little hunter with the mammoth ivory handle. Since my check has cleared I can say it's mine now. Check out his work.
That's the good part of photographing blades, I get to do a little trading of services at times.
