Anyone have planning to go to Knob Creek next month? I'm going for the first time. Looking forward to it. I've seen footage of the night shoot and I can hardly wait.
So, ya goin?
 
I'll be there as well, also my first shoot. I was wondering about this as well, thanks for asking for me:)
 
Maybe, I only live about an hour away. It really depends on the family schedule.

I'd love to get together with some Hog's if they will be in the neighborhood. ;):D:D
 
We were planning on going again this fall but there might be a change of plans:( I'll know for sure when it gets closer.

Whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM the triple mount GE Minigun, one year while I was there, that thing was not weighted down properly and it flipped over and killed the girl that had paid to shoot it, Squash:(

What day? I'm going with some other people and I think we are only gonna be there Saturday. At least for the whole day. Not sure when we will get there Friday.
 
It is great fun....I am heading out on Thurs for the weekend...

SH-E on hip. The springs on SUV will be flat on the trip(both ways)It is a great place to pick up supplies(ammo), and have a great time.

I am glad my schedule allows me to go..

Well I indeed was at Knob Creek. Had a blast. Waited in front of the store from about 10 til noon until 12:30 and no one showed. I was quite obvious since I had a Busse Combat shirt on and a Satin Jack hanging from my belt. I didn't see anyone else carrying any serious steel. I had on me at various times a Satin Jack a Steel Heart or a Badger Attack E. For sale I did see a Basic 9 and a Steel Heart that was priced at $200 but it was gone before I got back to the table so someone is a happy camper tonight. I was gonna point it out to a fellow hog in case they were interested but when nobody showed I figured I'd go snag it. It was gone though.
A good time was had and I am now broke. :D

Where was everyone?
 
Dammit, I finally figured out what "the store" was and got there shortly after 12:30:grumpy: What can I say, it was my first shoot and I'm not exactly always one to catch the obvious things:rolleyes: Didn't have a Busse on the belt though(had a couple in my pack), and must have gotten there shortly after you left. I scored the SH-E though, so it has a good home. I looked it over and asked the price, then just said gimme:D The guy that was selling it also had a nice straight handle Steel Heart on his belt.
 
Well I'm glad the SH went to a good home. I had one just like it on my hip. I went back to that table later and he told me a guy (you) came by mere minutes after I walked away the first time. I did get to check out his straight handled SH though. At lest it looked like it had seen some love. I did buy a knife from him. Another maker though. If I would have had the money that Basic would have gone with me also. That was a killer price on the one you got. That thing was in really good shape. I noticed he rounded the edges of the micarta. When I handed him mine he asked me if I did the same. The later SH had a little more contour to the grip. I told him I haven't modified mine at all. It's smooth due to it hardly ever leaving my grip. :)
Tique, did you stay for the night shoot? Good stuff. :D
