So yesterday i received a package from Dale at TKC. It included my teeener micarta handles and a BK 13.... Great little blade. It took a scary sharp edge from my worksharp.... I was looking forward to bumming around the shed this morning and giving it a try. Long story short.... It is lost! I have looked high and low but cannot find it....

If it had broken i wouldn't mind as the warranty would cover as awesome as the Becker Kabar warranty is they don't cover being a dumbass. I should have paid more attention... My fault

I bet it turns up. My BK11 was MIA for a few weeks but I found it.

Check the Screech cabinet. I bet you dropped it behind a bottle last night.
You should find it in the last place you look.

OK my man, since a Becker is involved you are probably willing to try anything, right? When my wife loses something(which is all of the time) she calls on St.Anthony the Patron Saint of Lost Things.
She stands and says,"St.Anthony,St.Anthony look around something's been lost that must be found."....And it works!!!! No BS!! I have seen this happen time and time again. Things just show up.
She has even done this for me and it has worked. I am serious. I know it sounds crazy and I am probably going to get laughed out of the forum for posting this, but try it what have you got to lose
............besides a new Becker?????

Call up information....it's behind the couch. Or in your pants pocket. Or in your jacket pocket.
It's not lost; it knows where it is. You just have to start thinking like a Remora.....at least the tweener scales didn't go MIA!

You should definitely order another one...that way you'll be sure of finding the other one.

BE CAREFUL sitting down until it is found, I've heard stories of the remora, it is a fearsome biter. If it gets ahold of human flesh, it will always be craving it. To the remora human flesh tastes like bacon.

Whenever my wife loses something, she orders or buys a new one and the lost one shows up within the hour.

Did you go out someplace with it? If you just tinkered around the house then it'll turn up, can't really imagine how it could just vanish.

It'll turn up. Maybe it's in a crevice somewhere?

That or it's sitting in plain sight. When I lose something it's usually right in front of me.

One of my favorite comments about finding something you lost or misplaced.

You'll find it. If you never left the house, it will be there. Check trash cans before you put them out for collection. Yeah, I said that. I have one in my office that somehow things find their way into that I didn't put there. I blame it on the cats.

Check the black hole vortex that are located in couches and recliners, you will be amazed what they have sucked down over the years, but watch your finger for those sharp pointy things that may also reside in there.

Ok so i have torn apart the shed and the house a couple times and no luck! I am going to try and recreate last nights events... Couple bud light a a couple shots of barcardi 151 proof... Might find it or at least understand what i was thinking lol... Guess i will just end up buying another one

Oh dear god... Whatever was i thinking... Just looked at the label ... 75.5% alcohol no wonder i lost the remora

Well that's what 151 proof means. Drunk people have a habit of losing stuff, and getting liquids into weird places. Had a friend who got vomit on the inside of his phones battery case. The rest of the phone was untouched, including the protective case that was still on it.

It was only a couple shots so no where near the puke stage but it may..... May have affected my memory regarding where it was placed, lol i am pretty sure it has been consumed by the couch.... No worries as i will be ordering another one this evening

In a last ditch effort to find the little remora I just bought another one from tkc so I expect it to show up any second at all.... Still rotted about misplacing it!

Those little buggers are easy to loose. A nine will not go missing easily :D
