Congrats on the zaan, great knife. My hinderer, striders and spydercos all share pocket time though - ive sort of narrowed it down to those

i am a sucker for smooth actions on knives and the umnaams is perfect! probably the closest spyderco I have would be the lum tanto

The virus can be slow to start and very difficult to control once it gets dug in.

For me the addiction started with the purchase of a Professional Soldier at a killer "stupid no way I can turn this down" price. I was stoked to be a member of the CRK club. The finish on the blade was superb and the edge was exceptionable. From there I transitioned to a Green Beret, again at a never get a deal like this again price. I was slowly getting sucked in. Next I purchased a TNK tanto Umnumzaan, now the addiction was full blown. Just this last week I traded for a Sebenza...now there is no turning back. I am now on a mission to unload all of my other knives that have a "snowballs chance in hell" of seeing my pocket again for a more varied selection of CRK items. Maybe not as crazy as Nyfemaker or Lisantica, but as close as I can get to that level would be nice. Good luck, enjoy and welcome to a habit worse than heroin....:p:D

Congratulations on getting an Umnumzaan. After getting my first CRK knife myself, I feel like selling all my older knives to thin the heard. Once you handle true quality and attention to detail you start to look at things differently. All those knives sitting in storage doing nothing aren't helping me any.

Hey, Are you saying I have too many CRK......???........LOL. What my wife doesn't know wouln't hurt her.....LOL. I did exactly what your thinking about. Once I got bit by the CRK bug, I Sold nearly every other knife I had that did not have sedimental value to fund even more CRK. The most i ever had at one time was 37, and when I counted them up, I had no idea I had that many. I have sold some though and have a few more I wanna sell, but I still have enough to get by....I Hope.......................Gotta love the One Piece Knives. Simply amazing design if your even remotely into the hollow handle survival knife style. My latest is a Shadow IV with a Sawtooth Back, its sweet. The military style's are great too. The only one I did not care for was the Neil Roberts, and that Only because it had a recurve blade, just not something I really care for. As for folders, its tough to beat the Umnumzaan. I have had all 3, but am finding the old original is my best one. Thinking about selling the tanto zaan, which is well used and get a newer zaan with the updated handle ergos, but before the Hinderer Stabilizer. Mnandi's are super nice for that nice small and descrete folder. Large and Small Sebenzas.....Cant beat em, though I much prefer the Old Large Regular to any of the older and newer once to boot. Doesn't even have to be decorated, there is something about the Large Regular Sebenza that really gets me going........Here ya go for some sebenza drewelage.......!!!

I bought one a few years ago, and I remember saying" what the heck" why would anyone carry this huge knife. I sold it within a few hours of getting it.. never thought much about it.. then I bite the bullet and got a another one 6 weeks ago.. It was lightly used, tough to open, and gritty.. I got the tool and lube, and now it's smooth as silk.. It has not left my pocket since.. I have a Large sebbie with ebony inlays inbound, but I highly doubt it will kick the zaan out of my pocket.
My two Gayle Bradley's just sit on my shelf and don't even get used.. Probably going to sell them..

thumbs way up for the zaan.

my personal fav.

btw, im a fan of your channel! keep pumping them out.
