Boy am I one excited puppy today. I was having some problem getting my forge burner to work at more than a 1/2 PSI of pressure, I added a choke, and sure enough, nice loud roar. My makeshift brick forge is sitting on my father-in-laws garage floor, and was able to do my first bit of forging with it. I crushed a piece of black iron pipe, and put a twist in a railroad spike that I'll make into a letter opener for one of my friends. It feels really good to be able to shape metal like this. I think that my wife was jsut as excited as I was. Take care.
