After seeing all of your posts with your EDK, I had a look through Fridays past and saw one that matches my Camp Knife. So now, Thurin, I blame this entirely....err mostly...umm at least partially on you! At 3/32" thickness, it is a little thinner than I usually go for, but for the purposes I have in mind it should do fine. One shot now, more pics to come later... :D

Should make a great companion knife to the Camp. Lots of point and good for detailed work where the Camp knife is a bit lacking..

Should be plenty thick at 3/32". It's not like you are going to batton with it :p

I was totally kidding! I love my EDK very much. At 1/8" and tapered, what's not to love!?

oohhhh that's a pretty one Mist. I like it.

I'm glad I could contribute, although I'll just call it paybacks since I blame you mostly for my Kephart and new Woodsman. Seeing your reviews made those must haves for me.

Better shots of the Woodsman in action coming later, when it's not 15 degrees out.

I don't even like my EDK....

I love seeing your knives HWF, it's obvious you love 'em and use 'em.

Just have to baton small sticks ;)

Oh, I don't know...I've been known to baton my SAK :o But it will be fine for what I need it for. In order for me to EDC a fixed blade it has to be light enough to not be a burden, but still stout enough I can fall back on it if I find the point of failure on one I am testing and evaluating out in the middle of nowhere and find the point of failure on the test knife. Right now the Recluse, being tapered 5/32, fills that role. A 5/32 EDK would work as well, but heading into winter, the longer blade of the Recluse is probably better for me anyway.

I thought you did from what you had said before, you had me confused man, was a long night up with a sick kid...
