I just wanted to let all of my HOG Brothers and Sisters know that it's almost over for me here. I got to tell you that I am ready to go. The mission here in Afghanistan is a good one , and changes are being made for the better. I am very proud of My TEAM and the job they preformed here. We as a TEAM we ran over 1100 combat missions, logged over 80000 miles land and air, were in 8 separate engagements, survived 3 SBVIED attacks, were awarded 2 Bronze Stars, 2 Distinguished Meritorious Service Medals, 2 Joint commendation Medals, 2 Army Commendation Medals, 6 NATO Medals, 6 Afghan Campaign Medals, 3 Army Good Conduct Medals, 2 Combat Infantry Badges, 3 Combat Action Badges, 1 Presidential Unit Citation and 3 of us were promoted. So I feel pretty good about our small part of this.
