Wow, what a week. A great week. An Emerson week!
Your responses to my partial launching of the USN website have been utterly positive and encouraging. I thank all of you so much for that. I love this project, and you have my word that I will make it the best that it can be.
To those of you who have already offered financial help with acquiring the software and additional webspace, you will be receiving both instant moderator status upon launch AND a complimentary Blair Brain Spike which has now been officially dubbed "Blair Stealth Stylus". I thank BobRP for so kindly discovering that we have a legitimate use for these things. Bob will receive the new Stealth Stylus protos soon, and so will John Hollister. Don Rearic, BobRP, and Ross all have early protos in hand, and Larry Brahms has many. Feedback has been quite positive thus far.
Speaking of Larry Brahms; he has assured me that he will be a major supporter of the USN. Larry has offered a very nice Emersonesque prize which will be offered during a contest once the USN Forum is up and running. This....will be....fun.
Now, onto the REAL goodies, at least for me.
Today I received my Mini Commander from the BladeArt guys. Too cool. I'm convinced that Emerson indeed has QC issues fully under control as this Mini-C is just perfect. If you don't have a Mini-C yet you're truly missing out. Get one.
And finally, did anyone notice the minty CQC6 that our Suspect Joel Pirela had for sale in the "customs for sale" forum just recently? Well, with the help of my buddy Larry Brahms I've managed to acquire this excellent Six, and Joel will be delivering it to Larry this Friday, and it will soon become a permanent part of my collection. Thank you Larry and Joel for making this possible. This will be my first SIX, and such a grand example it appears to be. Joel, if you have anymore pics of it, or any history on this piece, I'd greatly appreciate it.
I hope to see all of you tonight at chat!
