While waiting for my ganza BATAC with tequila sunrise scales I can ogle this beauty that I just received from fellow forum member aaaa...ccccc. BOSS Jack proto with what we think are tequila sunrise scales. What say you, Busse mavins? Knife is from a Blade show (2011, maybe?) and has been double cut by another forum member whose name escapes me.

Very nice! You are on a roll! Those tequila handles with that pattern machined in them look exquisite.

There's been a terrible mistake. Somehow strawberry-tini scales ended up on a man's knife, now the whole thing must go in the garbage. Box it up and mail it to me and I'll spare you the agony of having to discard it. I'll cover the shipping to help ease the pain. You're welcome.

Nice knife! Tequila sunrise is a good looking color combo and continues to gain popularity.

This Boss Jack was one of my favorites in my collection, it hurt to let this one go but I'm very glad it found a loving home with Jerry…. :)

I bought it from thatmguy a year or so ago. Then reprofiled the edge myself to a mostly blended convex by hand on sandpaper and let me tell you this sucker had a lot of meat behind the edge. Took quite a while on 220 grit sandpaper and a mouse pad, eek!

It was later sent of to my friend Avalenz here at Blade Forums for a Double Cut Bead Blasted finish. He bead blasted the handles along with the blade, which seems to give the G-10 slightly more subtle texturing. It's actually more of a competition finish-esqu finish in the sense that the machining marks are still slightly visible after the finishing. Very similar to how the Competition Finish Bushwhacker Mistress' were produced if I'm not mistaken. Very cool, IMO…...

Great pics you took of there, Jerry! Here's a couple I took of her at Balanced Rock while hiking at the Colorado National Monument….. :)
