My new small regular sebenza with decorated backspacer arrived from www.gearoutsidethebox.com today. I must say that after some trepidation about spending that much on a folding knife, I am very pleased with it. It has a nicely engineered feeling of quality about it and the backspacer adds a nice touch.

If you want to see it, its the one on Archies site with the 'sold' sticker!

You won't realize it but all of the comments I've picked up here helped me to make my decision and it's one I am very pleased with.

The service from Archie was great, even tho' it was coming to europe it arrived within a week and Archie answered all of my questions promptly by email.

If I get the chance I'll put some of my own up.

I've spent the last couple of hours just handling it, practising opening the blade etc. It has the same 'feel' of quality that the very best tools and instruments have, solid but not heavy, well engineered rather than over engineered, there is a very good discourse in 'Zen and the art of motorcycle maintenance' that discusses 'quality' and how to define it, this knife brings that definition to life (IMHO)

Hey Steve! I was wonderin' if you'd show up around here! Welcome! I knew you'd dig that blade!!! Can't go wrong with a Sebenza, no matter the flavor... and I must say that Lisa did a tasty job on that backspacer.

The spacer would look better on my woodie, though.

I've been lurking for a couple of weeks, checking out what people thought, and searching through the archives. I've done some pretty extensive searches on the net but found very few disatisfied owners of the Sebenza, thats one of the things that helped me with my decision.

I'd like to endorse GearOutsideTheBox too. I've purchased a few times from Archie and his service has been nothing less than brilliant.
