I got these two for $80 each, brand new in the box, at a hole-in-the-wall gun shop, I think they'd been there since new... The original AFCK, model 800

The one that you want to know about is a Microtech Lightfoot LLC. You will need to check and see if it is double action and the way to do that is by sliding the bolster and if it is the blade will fly out in a hurry so be careful. You have made some very good buys! You have to LOVE THOSE BENCHMADES!:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup: Kevin

I bought one of the AFCK's back in the mid-90's when they first came out. It is still one of the better-executed pieces of all time. Very light for its size--really well thought out. The only thing it would need to be viable even today might be a reversible pocket clip. There are lots of more recent folders that I like a lot less than the old AFCK.

If I'm not mistaken, it was the first production knife ever to have ti-liners. And if yours has the black blade coating, I believe that is Walter Birdsong's Black-T, which Benchmade used for a while before they came up with their own proprietary coatings.

I actually bought the two 800's with the intention of selling one and carrying one, but that thing is just too big, especially when compared to the 707 and 940 I EDC. Some day I'll sell one of each of my duplicates, and pick up a Gold Class. Some day.

Yeah, good snag on the LCC, I wish it had the box and papers, but oh well. Still a very nice knife.

Wow! Somebody snuck into your house and dropped off some NICE knives! Great collection! Who made the drawers?
