Guys,

It's been a good, long ride with some of the greatest people I've ever ran across.

The last few months have been rough and now that's it's a new year I feel the time has come for me to step down as moderator here. I need to devote more time with other things in my life.

I've talked with Spark and made some recommendations on who I would like to see take over from me. I'm sure he will come on and make the changes.

I still plan to visit and do anything to help any maker that asks for help.

Thank you all for making my job easy and making this the best knifemaker forum on the Internet, and for putting up with me all these years :)

My email will always be open so if you need me, just yell.

Sure wish you didn't have to go but I can sure imagine the extra time it has cost you. Best to you and yours.

Kit - you're a real stand-up kinda guy...even when stepping down. Amazing. Thanks for all you've given to the forum and to me personally.
 
I hafta say, it'll be rather strange to not see your name down there next to Darrel's under "moderators".... thanks for what you've done for all of us through being a moderator here. don't go away tho! come back and hang around now that the pressure's off.... thanks much man!

Thanks for all of your hard work moderating here Kit. I hope you continue to post, or else you'll just end up getting a whole whack of extra e-mails from me!

Say hello to Kristi from me and Lyndsey; we constantly get asked about my wedding ring! Maybe she would like to moderate? :)
