It's been a good weekend for knives.

Hey all,

Looks like I had a pretty successful weekend as far as knives are concerned. I ordered a Benchmade 42 balisong which should be here tomorrow, and a small safe to lock up the collection. I figured I had spent enough on the above two items, but then I made the mistake of driving to the local sporting goods store (which has an excellent knife selection), and there I was forced to buy a Becker Combat Bowie, a Benchmade Griptillian, and a Sharpmaker. Now my bank account is complaining, but I'm happy. :D Oh, btw, for a guy that could never sharpen a knife to save his life, that Sharpmaker is a dream come true! It gave new life to a huge portion of my collection.

Anyone else have a weekend like this? :)

Nice, well-rounded weekend for you--a bali, a folder, a fixed blade, something to keep it in and something to sharpen with. I'd say that's a worthwhile weekend.

ps...my BM42 was drawing blood all day yesterday--better stock up on those bandaids...:p

I had a good weekend. Picked up a Busse Basic 7, a Busse Desert Skeleton Key, a Buck 442, and an Surefire G2.

Nope didn't have a weekend like that at all. Still it was a great weekend! Glad you other folks got out and picked up the goodies though!

I received a NIB Camillus/Becker BK-1 Brute on Friday, and I just made a trade for a NIB Camillus/Becker BK-9 Combat Bowie, so it wasn't a bad week-end for me either.:).

I just played with knives and taught a young woman how to safely and effectively use a handgun. 200 rds of .40 S&W in one hour :D
