Hi All,
My apologies for being a bit absent from the forums over the last few months. I've been having the odd lurk and posting a random reply occasionally and I've had very little knife action during this time.
Reason is I've been rather busy with an album release for a band I play in. I thought I'd share it with you all becuase I'm rather proud if it. It's taken almost a year to put together. I've been head down in the studio since the end of November getting it all finished and we released it for download on our website on Jan 26 - Australia Day.
The response from the public has been nothing short of bloody amazing. We're completley gobsmacked to be honest. In under 2 weeks we've had almost 40,000 downloads!!!! In Australia, a gold record is 35,000. As Jerry would say - Holy crappin thunder!!!! One of Australia's largest radio stations, Triple J, has been flogging it and has called it "Possibly the Aussie metal album of the decade...". Needless to say we're totally stunned and extremely proud of what we've done.
Rightio. Knife talk time - I've had a couple of new blades arrive this week - a SYCKO 1111 and a Swampy Hawk. There is also a KZ on it's way too, so rest assured there'll be chopfest videos coming soon. \m/
