I've never been the most avid poster in this forum, but some very few people might have seen some of my work I have uploaded in the last couple of years. I am mostly self tought, but I have learned quite a lot from the generous people in this forum. This is why I wanted to take this time and share my progress over the last one and a half years. I haven't finished much, but my creed has always been to strive for uncompromising quality.

So I'm just gonna show you the stuff I've been working on (and for the first time, with professional pictures taken).
I'd be very happy to hear comments and critique from you fine gentlemen, and thanks again for helping a newbie out in the last couple of years.

This is my Fenrir Bowie design, my interpretation of a mid-sized modern bowie. Blades are acidwashed, handles are black linen micarta with red liners.

the next one is the prototype, a bit shorter and not as refined a shape as the others, but I still like it a lot

The next batch is my Hammerfall Kukri design. I always wanted to do some of these and I am really proud of them. The one with the curly koa handle was the first one I did and I will keep that one forever. The other two have african blackwood handles and those I'll be selling. Super proud of all three though.

Next up is my Skadi Hunter design, named after the norse goddess of the hunt.

This is my Pocket Bowie design. I wanted to make a small, but sleek and elegant EDC bowie. I'll let you be the judge if I succeded.

And last but not least my Obsidian Kiridashis. Fun little knives that are loosely based on the traditional japanese kiridashi. I went for a rock pattern steel handle and acidwashed them to make them look like they were carved out of a block of obsidian.

Thanks for looking.

Edit: before someone asks, I also do all the leatherwork myself and I am slowly reaching a place where I am comfortable with the quality I can produce.

OMG. I personally am nowhere near accomplished/qualified/entitled to comment on these blades. Except to say I see them as beautiful, and flawless.

Very nice, Laredian. Love the faux obsidian handle.

I'd have to go back to some of your older posts to reacquaint myself with your earlier work but your current stuff is excellent. Stylish but practical, great lines and proportions, great finishes, beautiful sweep to the plunge transitions, flawless fit. Outstanding work, sir. Your sheaths are very well done as well.
