It's coming.......

If you like slicers your gonna love what you having coming !!! They've got a nasty sharp edge ! :-)
Congrats on a great score !

Lol! Timmy, I hope the blade is everything you want and hope it will be! Enjoy, my friend!

I am certainly counting down the minutes. Maybe I should use hours.... There are fewer of them you know......

It's the most awesome HR I've seen or handled out of quite a few and the fact its a few years old makes it even better in my opinion........grail worthy indeed. I'm sad to see it go but I am thrilled to know it found a loving home. By far, the sharpest factory Busse I've seen, not even close. I'm excited for you!

Cool--let's see some anorexic infi... you said thinner that 3/16ths... are we talkin 5/32nds? That pretty cool. With micarta, that would make it pretty darn light.

Id be curious to try that out.
I got to play with my new Scrapmax 375 this weekend,, it just glides through whatever you're cutting like greased glass..and it literally weighs 3 oz!!
I don't know how INFI would perform at that thickness, but I for one am on a skinny kick.
That Scrapmax paired with my CGFBM is a pretty killer combo.

Nice rcb... totally agreed. I day hike a lot and going with a thinner stock/thinner ground blade on my belt suits me pretty well. I have so much other stuff to carry (usually with four kids & wife on the trail), so lighter is better. And thin is great with food prep as well. The big blades are always fun, nonetheless!

Agreeing more and more Tinfoil Tim--since my Hellrazor, SOB, and TGLB have been thinned out behind the edge and resharpened to about 20 dps by Beef, they have all preformed very, very well. Being thinner, I suspect yours will be awesome.

I took that Scrapmax to 15 dps,, knowing full well that it will be for slicing meat/plant matter,, no hard use
I wonder what the thinnest factory INFI blade has been..
Cant wait to see your new blade Timmy!!

If I remember right, Rob Mob goes down to around 17 or 18 dps. I don't know if he's beat on them after that--his edges are always mirrors. They are beautiful.

IIRC, the thinnest INFI knives are the Hack Bear Cubs and the Thin NICK at .090 or so.
