Remember that slogan?
I had this one in my toolbox for years,a friend gave it to me, I figured I would snap a few pics of it. Wrapped in the old tissue in a clear case. The blades were stuck with dried up oil. It's like brand new now.

It's kind of unique with the bottle opener on the back. It has one on the fish scaler too.

Interesting knife, My father grew up in and around Manchester as a kid and we used to have some old Cott bottles kicking around the basement. He said their ginger ale was pretty good. Thanks for sharing. Joe

That is really cool with that bottle opener & fish shield

Fishing, beer and knives. Who could ask for more. Gonna have to keep my eye out for one of those.

It's one of those knives you could just leave in your kitchen with the opener open and ready.

Great old knife. Kudos for keeping it in such good shape all these years. I found a regular Imperial fish knife (no separate bottle opener) in an antique shop, and outside of the patina on the blades, it was almost brand new. I probably paid too much for it, but it was one of those things that puts you in touch with an older generation. I have a weakness for things like that.

thx - cpr

Is that a bottle opener or also a can opener for the days when beer cans did not have pop-tops?

That was going to be my question. I have an Imperial Super Kamp King with a very similar (if not the same) opener. Printed on it is "BEVERAGE CAN-OPENER". Not particularly useful these days, but very neat. I'm easily pleased.

It just dawned on me when I read your post, I went and looked at it again. That explains the point and why there is a bottle opener on the fish scaler.DOH!I have a better appreciation of the knife now. Thanks Brownshoe and Lion.

No problem. The only use I've fond for mine so far is opening large cans of V8. It reminds me of when I was a kid. I hated pull tabs since it seemed that half the time they'd break rather than open. I started using an old beverage can opener my parents had instead. Then the modern pop tabs (or whatever you call them) came around and the opener became redundant.
