"It's cute!"

Well, that's what she said when I put my two new knives next to each other.

ZT 0551 came today. I placed it on the table, and she said "woah, that's a huge knife!" Then I put down my virgin Strider PT, brown with tiger striped blade, flamed back next to the ZT. When she saw the Strider she said, "It's cute!"

Cute?!

CUTE!?!?!


They know not what they do...*sigh*

In regards to the ZT, it is a nice knife. The fit and finish is good, but not great. Nice design though. Most comfortable folder in my bear paw hands ever.

So what do you guys think? Is the ZT really a big knife? And is the Strider...*ahem*...cute?

The 0551 is a big blade in a small package, compared to my spyderco military the blade is only about a 1/4in smaller. I like the size and even though its not really smaller it doesn't seem to freak people out like the millie does.

My ex said that once too, its like they know just what to say to degrade your manhood. Cute?......what?.... this is a tactical ... aww nevermind. Might as well put a pink lanyard on it...... :)
 
My wife can appreciate a well made knife. She carries a BM530 and says it's cute.
 
That's funny. Just last night I was showing my girlfriends sister my brand new ZT 0551 and she called it cute.
 
Cute?? That's why you need something like the Cold Steel Rajah II. Whip that monster out of your pants and see if the ladies call it "cute"! They will be both awed and terrified by what you're packin'.

Exactly. When I showed my wife my Rajah II, she just said; "What are you going to do with the monster of a knife?".:D.
 
Are you sure she didn't say "what are you going to do with that cute, little snookems of a baby khukuri?"
 
Mine doesn't comment. She rolls her eyes and just shakes her head. Although, she did buy me an edge pro apex for my birthday.
 
My fiancee carries a pink Strider PT in her purse. She wanted one because she thought it was cute. I bought it for her because I know it's tough and it's going to take a beating in that bag.
 
I suppose it is cute in comparison. The ZT is one beefy mofo. Perhaps too beefy to carry. I can just envision myself explaining to a cop "It's a utility knife".
