I was working on the patio of a local store/eatery yesterday. The fire in the fireplace had been allowed to die. I used the Utility, a nanoSTRIKER XL, and some pitch wood to resuscitate the fire so I could go back to working with the Yucca for the workshop on fire mechanics I'll be holding there later on this spring. I took a few pics, some a little too quickly... of all the shaving whittling and extreme batonning ;)

Love it! I just ordered one of these to give as a gift, but now I think I'm going to need one of my own...

I really like it configured this way, and it works well. but now I actually need to save up for a trailmaster for an upcoming project.

Sweet! Man, if someone did that in L.A., they'd probably call the PD, FD, and maybe SWAT... :D

I know the owner of the business personally and he has a pet peeve with guys who don't bother to carry a knife. Plus it is totally legal here to carry a much bigger knife if I chose, but I save that for the woods lol.

Gotta love Pitch Wood

YES! Especially living here in a temperate rain forest.
