I'm posting this in the Himalayan Imports Forum, but really anybody is welcome to post to this thread.

Here are the rules:

1 - you have to have a clear idea of what you want. (not "Well, can you make me something pretty...? :rolleyes: )

2 - has to be feasible (I make this decision) and fit within Bladeforums.com's rules.

3 - you have to currently have no avatar.


First person to post their excellent idea gets it!

I'll post replies as fast as I can.

p.p.p.s. chances are you've seen my work. I have made 101 so far for bfc members - including the now infamous spining spyderco avatar.
 
I've always liked the old Blackjack Knives logo of the dagger stuck in the Ace of Spades. An animation of that would rawk my world. ;)
 
MamaV doesn't have one. Maybe a likeness of Edith Bunker. Oh! I didn't say that. In trouble again.
 
An animated kami hammering a piece of red hot steel would be just the ticket for the HI Forum.
 
My thoughts were Edith Bunker with blue face, curlers in hair and a big Khuk to frighten away any intruder. I feel sorry for any one trying to check out my collection at night in the summer time.

Better leave that alone.:D

Art S. - I have a similar one I did for Centaur, sans kami. Using an actual image of a kami might be tough.

How about a little man pulling a slot machine handle with khukuris falling out of it. :)
 
lcs37 - that would be great, but would probably be too big of a file for bladeforums. Has to be less than 10 Kb and that doesn't leave much room for complex animations (based on past, painful experiences).


Tohatchi - Thanks! Had fun doing it to! Actually only took about 10 minutes to do it. I got a speedy system for spittin out avatars.

I need a Kermit goes Trucking theme avatar. I'm going to ditch my ACStudios handle (time to move on from the studio) and get acquainted with my NEW career as a truck driver (graduate from school next Thursday)!!! :D:D:D

I've been using Kermit as a handle on other boards... and as Walosi's son... kermit the frog fits in nicely with the universe :)

Can you do anything with that??

How about a "morphing" khuk.
Such as: start small and narrow and progress to big and broad.
Even more interesting if it did a little spiral or rotation as it morphed.
 
Pendentive, I already have an avatar, which disqualifies me, but if you ever get a chance, I'd love to add a khukuri to my alien. I've got a larger version that shows shoulders and the tops of the arms if this helps.
