Thanks! 10 3/4" blade, 17" OAL. Handle is cocobolo and leather with mild steel guard and buttplate. Blade is forged from a farrier's rasp.

Mine is an old Carbon steel Tramontina Bowie i had as a kid, fixed it up this year, bloodwood, brass and BC gunblue... Also rehandled the cattleman next to it was my grandads and the scales had curled (gassed out)

I don't have many fixed blades, but here's a Muela AROCHO, high carbon steel 8 3/4" Bowie that my Dad bought back in '89.

Just finished this one... My first try at a fixed blade build; It's Brass, white tail deer antler, leather wrap, ironwood, and the crown coin is a Sacagawea dollar (so the knife is worth at least a buck (pun intended)).

Yes, now my workshop smells like a dentist office (why didn't anyone tell me working with horn stinks?).

(I bought the blank... I can't do steel).
