Poor, poor Mark. His old age is effecting his memory. Now he doesn't even know what day it is. :D

What do all have planned for the weekend?

After I take my memory meds, and get home from the job, I'll be heading down to meet up with my Father half way between his place and mine. Saves us both the long haul. We usually just eat like pigs and do a little storefront looking.

Still working slowly at trying to turn my workspace into a usable knife shop. I havent even hooked up my KMG yet.

You forging guys are funny :D .............KMG still isn't set up??

I had my anvil set up in about an hour  ;)

I've got a gunshow this weekend so no shop time. Ted Nugent and Toby Keith are in Baltimore for a concert this weekend, Sat. I think. Sure wish I would have known about it sooner. I'd be there instead. :D Have a good one fellas. ;)

I'll be finishing the leather gun belt I'm making for a friend, work on fixing up an old mexican bowie...another friend wants me to sharpen it and clean up the blade. It isn't stainless so someone spraypainted the blade maroon :barf: . It's real cheap steel, but at least it will look nice. But, I'll have to put a few hours into hand polishing it. :( yuk.
Finally, if there is time, I hope to finish up the knife I'm currently working on and start a new one, this time meant for sale. :)

I'll be finishing up a cool sheath for a new camp knife I made. Hope the sheath turns out decent.I'll post pics. After that its back to work on the Soldier knives and other various jobs needing to go out.

GET that KMG up Mark!

oh yeah,
Mr. goode speaking of sheaths, I finished one this week for that mexican knife I made:
20h9no

It has the mexico Eagle in the middle, similar to the knife's handle.

hey! I like that one ;) I'll have to try to make a 2 piece instead of my pouch type. The pocket on the one I did last night turned out nice.
Well, back to the Friday thread :)

Whats Dan up to? ;)~

Work tommorrow morning. Horseshow sunday morning (EARLY ....haulin out a little before 6:00AM) Its at a new place I've never been to before so hopefully it will be nice. Wish it would warm up some though.
Also have to get some knife work in (KITH is about finished), and clean the stalls again. Might try and make it to the Arnold Fitness Classic too if I can find the time and get some friends to go.

Man....weekends are busier than the week anymore. More fun though :D

Trying my hand at my first Tomahawk!

I'll let you all know how it turns out (the good, the bad and the ugly). :p

Cheers!

All week I was working in the garden. We cut the huge eucalyptus tree down. It was too old and was dangerous as the branches were cracking for no reason. I am a little sorry for this huge tree, but it had to go...

The wood that had to be cut with axe has been cut etc. It took 4 whole days to clean up the mess, its unbelievable. Now there is tons of eucalyptus wood stacked at backyard. I may use some when they dry ofcourse. The reed knives, half-made sword and the first damascus project have to wait a while. Construction goes on in my shop, I covered all the out-door forge section with concrete pavement. There is also some work on the Cafee part that will be opened in summer season. Me & mom will make some cakes and cookies all summer long. This construction will continue in march and april. I am too tired :( ....

I'm going to put the other scale on a bowie and while it's setting up I'm going to clean up my shop before the board of health condemns the place. The only problem with cleaning it up is I can't find what I want and when I finally do the shop is a mess again. Ain't knifemaking fun!! That's why good scotch was invented.
