I was sitting around Sunday after the Talladega race and was putting some knives away in my Big Old Lock box when I decided to see what was in the darn thing. After a few minutes stacking knives on the sofa, I started putting them away nice and neat when it Hit me. I have more bucks than any other brand by far. I had at one time many Spydercos but have Sold or Traded the ones I don't use here as of late. I have several BM's CRKT's Protech's Busse's Scap-Yards Case Al Mar's as well as several other brands, But I seem to continue (without thinking) acquiring more and more Bucks. I have just purchased a couple here in the Exchange and one from Bass Pro Shop and the last few weeks I am looking at them non stop on the net. I purchased a Pair of Buck Strider Tarani Police folders around (2) years ago. I EDC one and sent the other to my Son in IRAQ during his first deployment (ARMY). I sent him a (CRKT Ti BIG DOG) and a (Spyderco LG Manix). The Buck just came home with him from his second tour. I asked what happened to the CRKT & Spyderco, all he said was "KIA"!!! His Buck(Tarani) looked a bit rough and haggered. I asked him if he wanted the one I had for it was in much better condition. He Replied "I won't ever part with this little guy" I got a lump in my thorat and smiled with pride like I don't know what! But again, I seem to be a Buck Guy! Proud of it, and it happened with even trying. I have two in route to me via mail and one soon to leave for some customizing. I'm getting the fidggets waiting for the Buck Custom Shop to open again as well so I can try to place some BG-42 orders. Well folks I just had to share that with someone. Be Well!!! ~baba~

BABA, you have some nice knives, I most say... Thanks for sharing.... :D Glad your son made it home safe... Thank him for us, for keeping us all safe... :)

Early,
Thanks for the Kudos and the Kind words for my Son. Now that he is home life around here is Wonderful. I like it when I'm surfing the web for new Steel and he watches over my shoulder and adds his two cents on any given knife. He says he got to see alot of different styles and manufacturers in the service. He's mighty one sided at times but he's young and I most often agree with him. But we both like Bucks and Scrap Yard knives....
