For years I been reading Jackknifes posts about those small peanuts. I got inspired and corious. At first i downsized to a Case swayback jack from my 3,5 knifes like the case 32 stockman or 3.5 trapper . When I started to like the size of the swayback I also started to carry a case scout jr and a buck 303. But the itch was still there to try even smaller and more easy to carry knifes. The goal was to try a peanut but they are not common here in sweden, actually Im a big knifenut and havent even seen one in real life. So I now try a very small penknife, blades like a vic classic. Now this feels small, mabye to small to carry but on the other hand I have already used it to most EDC. Things going for it is carbon steel and beautiful materials. Still wonder about a peanut though......

I think this one of those scenarios where if it works it just works. You could also carry a small fixed blade on your belt if you're about need something a bit bigger.

I carry a Pemberton every day. It's the same size as a Peanut and I find it to be very capable of 98% of what I need a pocket knife for to be honest.

I belive this penknife to be smaller than a Peanut. I think I can do a lot of my things with it but for ex pealing apples makes it rather dirty due to the sshort blade that make the handle come very close to the fruit. The thing that disturb me the most is the size in pocket. I cant feel it there at all because its so small. Its thicker in the blades than a vic classic for ex but as its a single backspring with thin covers of pearl its noticable thin and ligt.

You have beautiful knives, thanks for the photo. Peanuts are handy too. I started out by testing the pattern buying a very inexpensive Rough Rider Peanut. Then I upgraded to a fancy one from Case. At the moment Im looking for a pearl pen, something like yours.

I enjoy carrying a peanut to perform most tasks but have found that the schrade 233/33OT/833UH pattern is more comfortable to use while being not much bigger than the 'nut.

I still go back and forth but the 233 gets way more playing time.
