:( :( Just a heads up for any of you bike riders out there; be careful with knives clipped to your pockets. My Para must have fallen out when I made a trip to the store last week; I can't find it anywhere and the last time I remember having it was just before riding to the PX. It MAY have been picked up by one of the initial entry soldiers on base, since I rode right through their area and stopped at their store for a bite to eat on the way back. I'm going to put up signs with a reward but that's grasping at straws at best. Still, it's better than nothing. So be careful with your clippies everyone.

damn man i am so sorry,

It's you who convinced me to buy Paramilitary, it's a sad news... :(

That sucks, you may want to think about a landyard clipped to your pants or something when riding.

I feel for you, bro. Though I never lost any of my beloved Spydies, I can imagine your sorrow :(

I lost an Endura while biking - it sucks.

Alternative carrying strategies might include deep-pocket with lanyard or neck-knife carry.

For some time, I kept a lanyard with monkey-paw for carrying my Military. Lately, a neck-carried Ronin rides along with me.

I ride a motorcycle. Every once in a while i always pat my knife to make sure it is secure. Now, if it is gone the patting won't do any good, but if it is slowly working its way out I can hopefuly catch and adjust it in time.

I recently have acquired a dodo with a kydex neck sheath. If a neck sheath is made with enough retention (depending on the type of riding you plan on doing) this might be a good option. However, it will limit your ability to get at the knife, especially if you are riding a motorcycle with a jacket on over your shirt.

Just my .02

This was a mountain bike, which I believe just made the problem worse due to the constant leg motion. Moon, thanks for the lanyard suggestion, I may have to check out those gear clips TAD gear has.

My condolences. I stopped using pocket-clip carry for the most part several years ago, after losing a Mariner and nearly losing my Military and a Rescue. I have actually removed the pocket clips from several of my knives.

Sorry to hear, that sucks. Just curious: which pocket was it clipped to? I cycle just about everyday with my Para, as well, to/from work and while running errands. I keep my EDC clipped in my back right pocket; or, if I'm wearing cargo shorts/pants, in the front right cargo pocket. I can see where it could work its way out from a regular front/side pocket, due to the constant leg motion. In any case, I'll carry it more securely from now on! --Glen

Storyville, it was in my right front pocket. Now I've started carrying any knife either deep in the pocket or in my Camelback. Hell, I'm not even keeping my wallet in my pocket on the bike anymore.
