Alright I give in. I'm low, I'm pathetic.

Somebody may have just pulled the trigger on a Large Sebenza Insignio with micarta inlays. A month ago I had zero CRK's. Number four will be here in three months time. Yes I put it on layaway, gotta do what I gotta do.

Anyway just a venting post. Nothing too interesting. Just wanted to share a little of how I have succumbed to the mighty call of the Sebenza. I bow before the Gods of framelocks, asking humbly for a little cash leftover for bills and stuff for the kiddo.

A few years ago I found myself unemployeed, and a week later, Heather called me that both of my large LTD annuals were ready (Bubinga in SS, and a bro in SS Raindrop), I still bought them, that is the affliction. Sold them in the end, but Sebe's have a special place in my heart.

That raindrop Damascus is something else. I have a year to go but it'll be worth it:thumbup:

I have sold off some knives, have picked up extra shifts, and have gone without a few things just to add more CRK's. I'm sincerely hoping the Insigno holds me off for awhile:p
 
Familiarize yourself with what is out there, and what you want. Have a set plan of what you want to acquire. Or, just do what I did and go nuts, eventually selling or trading some CRK's off to finance others. Right now, I only have four models. Large and small micarta classics, Umnumzaan and Nyala. I need a large and a small micarta Insingo, and a large and a small desert ironwood Sebenza. Oh yeah, let's toss in a desert ironwood Mnandi.

If I were to get an Mnandi, small annual and large annual, all three with damascus blades and mammoth ivory scales, then that might be considered an illness. ')
