New small sebbie, unique graphics with damascus blade, arrived few days ago. I carried it around for a few days, but could not muster up the courage to cut anything with it. Its just such a nice knife. So I did what any good knife owner would do. I broke out the edge pro and put a brand spanking new mirror polish, razor sharp edge on it. Now I can cut with it. And I feel much better.

Sure would like to see a before and after picture. I just got my first damascus and the blade is crazy sharp. Everything I have read about it indicates the blade will stand up very well.

See, this is why I wouldn't want to ever buy a damascus blade; I'd be afraid to use it.

Use it, use it! I carry a Damascus Seb every day and it gets used all the time. With the clear coat Kalgard Chris is using, the edge is double protected!

ok here is a pic of my Sebbies, my camera and poor skills can't do these knives justice. The small is the one with the new edge. I haven't sharpened the large one yet.
