You might have seen the ads in Blade already. Pro Tech's newest auto is a Whiskers Allen design called Magic. It's basically a scale release auto. I got to handle a couple hand ground prototypes at the Blade Show and I already am in line to get one of these when they are out :)

Here are the specifics: 3.5" 154CM SS blade, T6-6061 anodized aluminum handle (in black or their multi-colored "jazz" finish), and a black pocket clip.

$350 list gets you a hand ground pre-production model, each blade ground by Wayne Clark. These are available now.

$250 list gets you the regular production run models, and I was told by a Pro Tech rep that the regular ones will be shipping 6 weeks from 6/1/02 (subject to change w/o notice).

Edited to add a new pic of the clip side of the Magic:

.......I'll bet you will be picking up one of the "Carolina Blue Jazz" models:D ;)

I like the looks of these but I really like the look of the Integrity Folder.

Yeah, sure...Carolina Blue jazz for me :p

Yes sir, the Integrity is indeed a nice looking folder. I saw these too....very nicely made and solid lock up! Here's a pic of a hand ground model:

Damn that Integrity looks sweet.

What are the dimensions and materials? Where can I get one?

Dennis - the Integrity is only going to be limited production. Pro Tech's web site indicates they will only produce about 10 knives per month of the Integrity series  at about $500 a pop. Blades will be hand ground by either Wayne Clark or Don Maxwell. It is a regular item but production will be limited.

That integrity is a beauty, but $500.00 can get you a lot of really nice customs. What the heck, maybe it is that good.

The Integrity model ia a well designed looking folder. Thanks for the pics and the specs link.

It it me, or does the TR3 and Integrity resemble the Emerson Mach 1?
