I've decided until further notice, when I participate in any knife-related discussion, I will have only one of two comments:

1. "Well, it's a Buck 110," when the discussion is about the legendary Buck 110. A confident head nod is optional.

2. "It's not a Buck 110," when the discussion is inexplicably about something other than the Buck 110. A scowl evoking the "what stinks?!?" reaction is recommended.

Ok, how would you comment on this:

When is a 110 not a 110?

It's no use Rhino, no matter what you tell yourself Brother. Once an addiction takes hold it's a tuff one, once an addict always an addict! Sorry, I say buy another 110 and just admit you have a problem! Negative reinforcement will not work as you are here with us, thats like a heroin addict going to his dealers house to hangout while trying to kick their habit. LOL.

Now just a minute! I've only bought two this week and one last week. How the heck is that a problem?

Oh. Wait.

I see your point. Futhermore: Well, it's a Buck 110.

Sorry. This doesn't work for me unless I can actually see the scowl. :D

What if the discusson is about one of the other 100 series, the 300 series, or one of the discontinued USA made fixed blades?
Nothing that deserves a scowl there. Really, the offshore 877 with black handle don't deserve a scowl, either.
(my 877's are USA white handle.)
