It's Not Fair

I promised myself, NO MORE Knives for awhile. I've been on a little bit of a buying spree between vintage traditional Barlow's and the occasional GEC and felt it was time to step back some.
Unfortunately no one took my computer from me and being an admitted addict I had to go to one of my favorite retailers this morning and of course one of my Kryptonite's was prominently displayed in the #1 spot, gnarly stag, stag such as I have not seen in awhile.
The shakes came on, the sweats, looking up my bank balance, wondering if a can sell blood or buy less food for my 4 cat's.
You guessed it, any resolve or will power crumbled and another knife I do not need is on the way.
How do you all do it? It's not fair, can't GEC start making ugly knives or something until the bank account recovers.
Anyone want to buy a computer?

Nice looking knife. I would be able to resist that one personally, as it doesn't appeal to me. Are you truly asking for help on your buying compulsion? I can't tell if you are joking around or have a serious problem. If you are considering starving your pets, then you do have an actual problem and should seek counseling, or at least have a serious look at yourself and your behaviors.

Otherwise go sell some of your other knives to fund your knife buying compulsion.

Beautiful stag on that one.

Can't help you on curing the compulsion. Only cure for me was lack of funds and paying for 2 growing boys (with one getting fingerprints all over my knives coonfingering them).

Thank you, Augie. That is the knife I was looking to buy myself. Thank you for saving me some funds. I promised myself I would not buy a new knife for two weeks.
Of course, I just bought a 21 Bull Buster in red linen micarta. I am, like you, such a failure and addict.

Can't blame ya for not being able to let that one slip by - great looking stag!

I was looking at that very knife last night. Dang near clicked the "Add to Cart" box. It's #52 at KSF site..

Nice knife to accompany your fall off the wagon!!
:D

Thanks everyone. Charlie, it was a short wagon ride, barely made it around the block. John, don't worry, not starving the cat's, it was just meant tongue in cheek. They eat better than I do and probably better health care, besides they would eat my eyeballs if I did not feed them.

Rostislav, you are about to get your wish. They are going to make a run of #28 leg knives.

Talk about ugly....

(oh, and all opinions about the ugly leg knife are my own and do not reflect the opinions of the staff and management of KnivesShipFree.)

Oh wait. They do. :)

If you are lucky , that great looking Stag may act as a sedative , or mezmorize you , long enough for you to get back on budget.

Haha, I saw that they were producing some on their production schedule. I have to say, the #28 is the only model I have spotted so far that are pretty easy for me to pass up...yet again...the heel/bottle opener feature has almost tempted me several times.

Edit: Also, concerning the knife presented in the OP, by some miracle I am not really much of a fan of stag. Yet again, I used to think traditionals were ugly and now I am a full convert. I hope my indifference to stag can remain in perpetuity, or else I am in big trouble.

Nice knife!! Cats are natural hunters. I'm sure they can make it a day or two on their own! :D

I dont typically like stag covers but those particular ones look great. Its lucky for you that number stag 73 is now at sold out on KSF.
