Its official, im hooked!

Well, welcome to the addiction. these knives are the bees knees. You WILL buy all of them...Now find a way to make it good with the spouse bout the blades. thats the tough one.;)

I agree with younggrunt. You can also do what I do and not totally tell the wife about how much is spent on the knives and how many you have. If your wife is like mine she wont pay much attention to your knives anyway.

Best thing to do is get her own :)

i bought an instant pink collection for my girl: a pink strider pt, a pink kershaw scallion, a pink spyderco native and a pink izula.
Now I just need her to pick on of those from the shelf one day... I'll get there :)

Unfortunately, me cutting her with my umnumzaan by accident (she moved her hand while I was holding it) didn't really make here appreciate knives any more (or any less for that matter, still, bad timing :))

I do tell her what I spend, I found that not telling her was worse :D

Being hooked is a good and a bad thing. Good, is you picked great people to be around. Bad - you will never have a heavy wallet again.

I like dizwolf's idea to let my wife get her own RAT knives. Later when she's tired of them and has put hardly no use on them at all I will take them and care for them as my own.

I'm going to add a congrats, in hopes that this will get me closer to my own rat pack number... :)

Well just to warn you....this is like a disease, and it spreads fast...you buy your first RAT and then one day not so much longer its the only knife you use and you own 10 more...kinda like those tribbles from star trek

I'm also working my way up to 25 posts. I have already learned so much in the short time i've been on this forum.

As far as the wife goes, a knife is a knife to her so never let her see them all together and she has no idea how many i have.

This hobby is cheap compared to some of my others. I have no doubt that I'll own pretty much everything Rat makes in the next 6-12 months. Might have a Rat Pack number by then too. ;)
