I no longer have to "borrow" the RC3 from the Mr! I practically stole it from TTD ;). It came today while I was working hard on my shelter. It was a nice surprise when I got home. HOLY CRAP, I sound like the Mr.:eek:

and you CAN have 2 sheaths for one RAT. The Mr made the orange kydex one and the leather one was the one I stole, i mean bought, from Tony.

nothing like your own! the orange looks good.and nice job on the sheath.and thanks again for instructions on how to post pics.
 
I think maybe the Mr. had an ulterior motive. When you have that blaze orange sheath on, it makes it easier for him to spot you so he can keep an eye on you!:D

i want to WIN the 6. i never would have bought the 3 except that tony gave me a killer deal on it. After all I was saving the $$ to buy you a green izula. :D maybe for your birthday..............maybe.
 
I like the orange combo also!! How difficult is it to make the kydex sheath ? Really Nice combo, I would like one myself like that!!!! My wife carries the smallest SAK that I had on my key chain. She is afraid of the publics reaction to weaponry, I told her that a nail clipper is deadlier than her SAK! She does like the pink Izula though. I really like that kydex you made, was it difficult to make that? Good Job!

Be careful, I recommend staying out of the W&C until you get a good feel for the forum and members, also I don't recommend spending too much time in there. :D I do recommend starting at page 1 of the "pictures that make you laugh every time you see them" thread and seeing how long it takes to go all the way through it.

w&c is not for someone hot headed like me :D

Honestly, it's really not all that hard to do, but it's taken me a few years and a few hundred sheaths and holsters to really figure it all out and get a decent product.

I have about 5 or 6 hundred bucks in equipment that make the job easier and the finished product nicer, but all you really need is a kitchen oven and a dremel.

I am glad you Like the RC3 ,I had a pair of Orange RC3's ; one for my Son but He likes my RC3 MIL so the Orange one just sat un-used.... So when I heard Mrs. Shotty was in need,I gave her a great deal.... Just helping out a fellow member... and easing the pain on my bro's wallet :D
 
I sympathise. Derrick sorted me and the wife's orange RC-3 arrived yesterday. So I could dig through her pink handbag and rescue my RC-3 Mil that she confiscated when she saw it the first time ...till I got her, her own. Now she is contemplating to keep the pink Izula in the handbag and the orange RC-3 in her pink Nike backpack pack for hiking. Must admit that I have been collecting knives for ages and these were the first knives she latched onto ...what is this with my wife and RAT's?

Jeff, I beg you ...please ....don't make any pink RC-3 or RC-4's as I cannot afford to keep updating her wardrobe ..... just because she likes pink and pink RAT's are cool.
