Here it comes! I can almost taste the 1095 goodness as I type. ...but I get ahead of myself.
I've been following the forums for about a month now, give or take, prompted by my search for a BK-7 that I was introduced to in the good ol' Smokey Mountain Knife Works catalog. I got one, it's great (I live on forty acres where a knife of that ilk make a great truck knife). After readiing the Becker thread for awhile I decided I'd get a necker, so I did. (Been EDC-ing it now for 3 weeks, well pleased, but not satiated.) As I read the posts about the necker I stumbled upon some comparisons to this "other" knife named after an ant. Enter RAt Cutlery. All I can say about what I've read and researched about RAT is WOW. A no BS company, making no BS knives, with a no BS policy of backing up their products. AMERICA still llives!!! To make a long story just a little shorter (not short by any means, but forgive me - I'm new and excited) I've decided upon an RC-4 for its utilitarian attributes. My question is - and I know it's a long shot - does anybody EDC one of these masterpieces? What are the carry options that those of you "in the know" have tried?

Excellent choice! I EDC the Izula. I carry it horizontally with a custom kydex sheath with a spyderco G-clip. :)Welcome to the family!

I've seen a lot mounted on their backpacks when they go hiking, most other people wear it on their belt, vertical carry. Some people like to attach paracord on the sheath, and put their belt through it for horizontal carry. Do what you think will work best for ya :)

Before I traded my RC-4 I carried it at work on occasion. Just used the paracord to attach the sheath to my belt at about 9:30 for a right handed cross draw.
