Neither snow nor sleet nor dark of night can keep them from their appointed rounds. Gents I'm not over stating this as Friday set up and Saturday was just bad weather with icy roads, cars spun out in the ditches, snowing all day and frigid wind chills that would deter the most ardent show patron. Still, we were paid up and undetered bringing our best game to the show. By today it had faired off and the roads cleared up. We chatted with many loyal Buck owners. Who recounting to us several heart warming stories and adventures with their Buck knives. DM

Outstanding you two!

I just noticed the date on the picture, is this a "back to the future" thing? ;)

One such pair was a Father and daughter, Merek and Mareda pictured here holding my 124 Frontiersman. Who, work their farm using Buck knives for their daily cutting chores. He espically likes using a 307, 319 and 317. They have raised many fine show animals and been honored with numerous awards thru the years. They go about their day with Buck knives riding shotgun all the while. DM

Plumber, This digital camera seems to have a mind of it's own and will change the date each time I change batteries. I read it as the European style of day-month-year which makes sense to me. DM

It was pressing for us to do these two shows so close together as it seems we did double duty. This shows date was moved because of a conflict in scheduling the convention building and the closer date resulting. Still, it was good. With the current rumors on gun law changes we saw all types of guns and reloading supplies flying out the doors. DM

Thanks Kim. Hope you and Kara are great. When you can post some pictures of your newly aquired BuckMaster. DM

Nice pics David! Sounds like you really enjoyed this show. I'll be driving the Snoball 500 next year. Good training for those hard to get to Gun and Knife shows.

Where is Leesa's scrimshaw display case DM?
I have built her two different displays and she didn't care for either as People have to handle them. You know and smug them up. O- well, it gives me something to do during the show.... DM

With a Buck display you can build that in a format where people can't touch or handle your collection at a show. NO problem, it's secure. Once, you start selling(allowing more customer involvement) nice artwork it requires much more work just to keep it in presentable condition. Thus, it's not protected either from quick hands. So, two sets of eyes is a Must as well. Once, you start displaying many realizations will surface. DM

This, was also visible on the table from the photo. A recent creation of her engraving adoring the floor plate of a Win. model 70. DM
