It's so hot here, my Buck knife is: hiding in the shade.

I think I may have to get a bigger thermometer.

300Bucks

PS. This must be a ice age thermo. goes to -60 but only up to 120, haven't they heard of global warming....

Global Warming is a rouse to get people to waste their hard earned money on Eco friendly crap. IMO:)

Atleast you still have green trees. Nice, photo 300. My Buck knives ran for the AC too but they'll come out this fall. DM ;)

You're Buck knife has it made in the shade.I spent 37 years working in temps like that with no A/C and no shade. So happy to be retired.

Sky, Thank you for that service. We've gotten very soft thru the years. I left my 119 out in this sun and in short order it was too hot to handle. DM

I was just wondering if the knife inlays were black when he first put it out in the sun? Got so hot, they are glowing red now?

Re: a bigger thermometer,

I've been relying on a meat thermometer for a while now (0 - 220F). The 'nominal' center-range of the dial puts the needle straight-up at about 120F. Seems perfectly appropriate on those days when I feel like I'm being slow-roasted.

First it glows red and then the scales fall off.

I think the Forever Warranty only covers it up to 150 degrees.

What with global warming......this could get to be an issue.

:D

Those who don't believe in global warming should tell all the birch trees in this area.....they're all confused and losing their leaves after the last blast. Hope we don't get another or they'll probably all die.

:(
